Assuming Send to LayOut is working normally, Send to LayOut will start a new LayOut file. It should bring up the panel to choose a LayOut template for the document. If you already have a LayOut document started using the model, Send to LayOut would be the wrong thing to do after making changes to the model.
I dont think send to layout is working properly. Previously I sent many scenes to layout even after changes, i just update the scene. When i press send to layout i dont get the start up “choose template” as i have used and set as a default my own template.
In LayOut go to Edit>Preferences>Startup. Make sure Open “Getting Started” is selected under New Document. Then do the repair as I directed previously.
Ok will do but Ive already done the repair as i saw this in another post. will give it a go again.
