Urgent help needed.
I have been working on a file for months and it’s due TODAY. This morning I went to import a DXF and the program froze. I closed and restarted it and the same thing happens. I’ve tried making a local renamed copy, I removed the software and reinstalled it, adjusting the document rendering settings… I’m completely locked out of my file.
Anyone out there who can help?

Use a file transfer service like dropbox or Wetransfer. The upload button is the 5th from the lift.

I’ve been looking at your file and it looks like there are two viewports that need to re-render upon file load, one of which is extremely heavy - one is on page “S2.1 Wet Well Raft Slab Plan”, and the other is on page “A2.3 Headwaters Sections”. These seem to be performing a vector render which is why you’re seeing it hang. If you wait long enough, the file should finish loading.
An alternative option is to open a blank document and turn off auto-render in the application settings, then open your file. It should open much faster, and you’ll see on those pages the out of date render like this:
