Same with me.
With step 2 I need to pan first with the middle mouse wheel and when I release the wheel the cursor turns to select and I can’t zoom in or out. Continued panning with the middle mouse wheel and releasing still no zooming in or out.
I can reset zooming with the middle mouse wheel by going back to view selecting pan then immediately invoking select with the space key.
I wonder now… sometimes continuously racing around LO with my mouse, panning with the middle mouse wheel and zooming, selecting shortcuts, once in a while I find that I suddenly cannot select anything. There’s nothing I can do other than go to another page where I can select and then return to the problem page where I can select again.
