Layout 2026 ViewPort Bug when aligning Viewports

After a bit of hesitation, I took the plunge and upgraded from LO 2024 to LO 2026. I can undoubtedly say the speed improvement is impressive, even on my 5-year-old laptop with its measly 16 GB of RAM / old NVIDIA MX450 Graphics card.

BUT I did find an issue that causes LO 2026 to slow to a crawl. Everything runs fast and snappy with the “Pages” Tray collapsed. If it’s expanded, however, when performing the same task, moving or snap viewports in alignment, it slows to a crawl. Collapse the Pages Tray again, and everything speeds back up.

It would be great to get it fixed.

Are you in list view or thumbnail view? On Mac my pages is tab is 100% always open, list view, no issues.

in SU, having the scenes in thumbnail view often caused lag in the past because it was regenerating the images live.

Not saying it’s the same, but I wouldn’t be surprised it having the pages in thumbnail mode caused a similar issue.
