Layout 2023 dimensions relocate after relink with Sketchup model

After I loaded viewports in my Layout drawing I added dimensions.
Now if I relink my viewport the previous dimensions moved off the sheet.

Any thing I can do besides not relinking?

Share the LO file so we can see what you’ve got.

Shifting dimensions are a common issue if you’ve modified the Camera position in LayOut annd then need to reset the camera.

DaveR, Thanks for the quick response. So I have a 27 page Layout file, and what I need to do is open each page, select the viewport that I modified the camera position (same viewport that my shifting dimensions are keying too) and reset the camera in the sketch model tray. Then I should be able to relink my SU model without shifting dimensions. Is that correct?

I expect that’s it.

And for projects going forward, avoid modifying the camera position or doing anything else that results in a reset button showing in the Camera section of the SketchUp Model panel. Set up the scenes in SketchUp for the views you need in LayOut. If you have some reason to change the camera position later, go back to SketchUp and correct the scene. That’ll save you a ton of work later.

A thing to note, dragging the edges of a viewport to resize it does not modify the camera properties. Instead of double clicking into the viewport and panning the camera, just move the edges of the viewport as needed.

Thank You.
