Layers panel “dashes” option/column

Please Help!!!
In the layers panel, I don’t have the “dashes” option/column. I am using SketchUp Make 2017 as a student.
Or is there any other way I can draw dotted lines?

Dashes is a later development. It wasn’t in the 2017 version. There’s a plugin…but it has limitations. and you can have them in layout

It’s pretty simple to make your own, either group or component.
