Latest updated of 2025 crashing A LOT (win 10)

Yes I have tried both Classic and Experimental graphics engines. Have not had this kind of trouble before. Crashing OFTEN and driving me bats. There had better be a new update coming soon to fix this.

I see no crashes under your name in Bugsplat, so I have no idea why you’re crashing. Please submit one with the same username or put it in the comments and I’ll look.

yeah when it crashes and i am trying to do something i have little patience and need to get back to where i was so i usually cancel the report to try and get back from the interruption while i can still remember what i was doing

i’ll try to remember to send reports

please do. you don’t even need to fill in a lot of infos, it’s a click and forget report.

a bug that isn’t reported doesn’t exist and won’t be fixed. simple as that.

The more reports for the same crash, the higher the total, the higher it rises on the priority list.

5 errors so far today and I expect they will keep coming.
I am about ready to chuck something thru a window I do not have the time for this.

Did you send in the reports this time?

Have you updated to the latest 2025.0.3 release? (build 25.0.660)

When was the last time you updated your graphics driver directly from Nvidia?

What were you doing when it crashed? What feature or tool were you using?

yep, reported. crashes doing various crazy complicated operations like moving an object or changing scenes. nvidia most recent update was 5/19.

Windows 11 comes a callin’

Sometimes when updating scenes you’re asked about whether to update the current style or save a new style. For the times when you get crashes working with scenes, are those at times when a style was updated or created? Can you go between scenes if nothing has changed?

still on win 10. will need to upgrade to 11 at some point when I have a little slack to deal with it.

nope. when it crashed between scenes I was just switching scenes, hadn’t modified the scenes in a while. I moved a piece a few inches and went to switch back to a different view and :skull_and_crossbones:

Please update your forum profile. It says you’re still using SketchUp 2021.

I had not actually even filled that out. updated.
(not sure if it’s showing my correct video card but I won’t know til I am on that machine again tomorrow)

You must have at some point. No one else fills it in for you.

Thank you!
