For the past few months I have been able to use the model flawlessly… Just recently I am not able to open large files anymore.
- new files open
- any file over 10mb goes to screen (not responding)
please help!
Give us a clue, a model to try, something.
i have several very large models on HD… the small models open, the large ones don’t… this issue started yesterday…

- small model opened ~3mb
- large model trying to open - 1.52GB
- model info (this model has been opened and saved several hundred times since Feb)

- close the “Material” tab
- disconnet from the network if any ressources integrated in SU do reside on network shares

GUYS how do i turn off the outliner and material tab! i’m having this same issue and need to open my file for a work related job. HELP ASAP <3
With nothing else open, Open a blank file, close the outliner and materials by clicking on them, or just close the whole tray.
Close the blank and open your other file. It should open however the last closed instance was.
