I am enjoying the greatly enhanced flexibility of the Sketchup Model tray in the current version of Layout.
A drawing like the one below would previously have required a number of different scenes to be set up in SU before importing into LO. In this case, there are just two. One shows the perspective with shortened legs. The other shows the parts of the legs to be cut off in X-ray rendering.
Many people have asked for a better way of managing scenes in SU and this is certainly a big step in that direction.
