I've used SketchUp Pro and liked it now I want to move on to CAM and need help deciding what software to use tor generate G-Code

I want to get into CAM andI don’t even own a CNC milling machine, I’ll probably mainly be cutting wood and metal. I need something small as we don’t have a lot of extra room.

Besides the CNC machine I need CAM software to generate G-Code. I am hoping to get a CAM software that that can Strat with SketchUp Pro on my MacBook Pro.

Any help you could give me would be very appreciated.

You might look a vectric software’s Vcarve. It can import direct form Sketchup… I work with a shop that uses it to operate their CNC Router. I have not sent them any work via download. I had a free trial for vcarve. Probably still available.
