Forgive me, I’m sure this has been discussed elsewhere already… I used SketchUp 2018 for a long time and found it clunky and buggy and prone to crashing. More recently I’ve been using the Web version, but it’s also buggy and missing a lot of features. I’m a just hobbyist but I also don’t want to deal with crashes and bugs all the time. Most older SketchUp versions are quite stable for the vast majority of users. Before spending money for upgrades - Check that you are using the latest maintenance update of the version you have. - Find your installer file, right-click on it, select “Run as administrator” from the context menu, and select “Repair” from the install dialog. - Go to the AMD website and download and install the latest driver version for your graphics card - Check the extensions you are running. Disable them in groups until the crashing stops, repeat until you find the offender.
