The 1.1Ghz Intel processor is just the base clock speed. It can boost beyond 3Ghz. It’s totally capable of running SketchUp. Enjoy.

The bottleneck is the integrated graphics.
The graphic unit has as positive fact a low power consumption but on the other hand a very low performance - designed for office application and not for 3d performance.
The intel hd 5300 works with shared memory- you “lose” 1.5GB memory from your 8GB system memory.
