Hello SketchUp Community,

We’re excited to join the SketchUp community.

Dseconds AV Tools is focused on developing workflow automation tools for AVL professionals working with LED walls, truss systems and projection design inside SketchUp.

Our goal is to simplify repetitive tasks, improve design accuracy and help professionals generate useful technical information directly from their SketchUp models.

Current development areas include:

• LED Wall Designer
• Truss Designer
• Projector Designer

We’re here to learn from the community, share ideas and gather feedback from SketchUp users.

We’re especially interested in feedback from users working with live events, exhibitions, broadcast and entertainment projects.

A small follow-up to our intro — here’s a short clip showing the kind of workflow we’ve been building toward. It combines a few things in one pass: truss structure generation, LED wall placement, real manufacturer databases, and automatic technical information output.

The idea isn’t to replace design work, but to cut down the time spent on repetitive elements, so the designer can focus on layout, visualization and the technical decisions that actually matter.

We’d really value feedback from people doing live events, broadcast, exhibition stands, corporate events or projection design: do you currently model truss and LED structures by hand, or have you built your own custom workflows and extensions for it?
