Hello all, this is my first hour using SketchUp. My first project is to design a retaining wall and submit the drawings to the county for approval. I know what needs to be done, but I need to learn how to execute the plan using SketchUp. I have a JPEG plot plan that I want to import and use that plot plan as a template to start my project. Which sequence of tutorials do you recommend I follow? Any suggestions? I am sure that I can find everything I need in the documentation, however It is not clear to me where I need to start.

Yes, that would certainly be a good place to start, without the fundamentals you are just running around in the dark.

After that you can watch the SketchUp YouTube channel. Start with the square one series wich is also fundamentals.
