Internal staircase on a hollow circle laid into a flat plane

How would you go about creating an internal spiral staircase where the staircase is contained within a “tube” … Like a minaret ?

Then be able to lock the short side of the “triangle,” to the interior wall , split the wall and unfold the wall so it lays flat with all the staircases still attached.

Then if I were to roll the flat sheet back into a tube the staircase shape would “reveal itself” once again.

This sounds more like a question to ask in a forum about origami and/or pop-up book art. Maybe sketch out what you are thinking, and someone here might be able to give you tips on how to model it.
