i am having difficulty registering on Sktechup because i am a male student at HERZING college and it is asking me to pay money but my college tells me it is free.

SketchUp Free is a browser-based application which is free. You can open it from here: Trimble Identity
The desktop version of SketchUp is not available free even to college students (no matter what their gender is). There is an EDU license that you can purchase at a greatly discounted proice. Scroll to the bottom of this page to purchase that license.
SketchUp for Schools, as you put in your forum profile, is for school children, not for college students. Please correct your forum profile. Also put the operating system and graphics card in your forum profile. “SketchUp 2024” and “graphics” are not the answers to those questions.
