By comparison to SU, PowerCADD’s layer palette has three columns with toggle settings:
- Visibility - On, Off or Grayed out (You can also set opacitdy for a layer from 0% to 100%)
- Snap - On or Off
- Print - On or Off
So, you can toggle off snapping for one layer, and still snap to everything else you see.
You can draw things that you see on screen but never print.
Can you imagine SU being able to set global transparency or X-Ray mode by layer? I’ll take a wild guess that OpenGL doesn’t make that easy to do, but I have no idea.
