Mon établissement m’a fourni Sketchup make 2017.

From where are you trying to get these plant models? Are you referring to the 3D Warehouse? If so, the 3D Warehouse hasn’t supported SketchUp 2017 for more than five years. You can go to the 3D Warehouse in your internet browser and find the component you want and download the Collada file. Then import the .dae file.

Yes. You can download either a SketchUp file which can be opened in newer versions of SketchUp or you can download the Collada file and import the .dae file into SketchUp 2017.

As for the .dae file, it is included in the Collada zip file that you’d download. Extract the .dae file and the folder including materials into a folder on your computer. Then use File>Import, navigate to the .dae file, selec it, and open it.

Really you should talk to whomever is in charge at your school and ask them to update to the current version of SketchUp. If it’s a primary school, you could use the free SketchUp for Schools which does provide access to the 3D Warehouse. If it’s a higher education school (university or college) there are EDU options for SketchUp for Desktop.

You might also want to inform your school’s IT department that the web browser used by SketchUp 2017 Make has not been supported by Windows for years and has had no security updates. That could make the computers susceptible to problems from outside.
