Importing DWG into Layout 2021

Hi All wise SU Sages,
I watched the YouTube video by Aaron on "referencing DWG files in Layout " and would appreciate advise on following:

  1. How do I manipulate the respective imported CAD drawing line weights in Layout?
    This is my process:
  2. Open Layout in this case Layout 2021
  3. File,Insert,Select DGW file,Model Space ONLY,Model Space Units (I selected the Units the DWG file was saved at,Imported,Edited Group to remove dimension lines that were not correctly imported, rescaled drawing.
    I noticed that the CAD file was no longer linked to the original DWG file.
