Importing a pdf blueprint

I have SketchUp pro 2022 on a Mac running OS 12.2.1. I often import a pdf blueprint and trace the bare bones of the floor plan of a house or apartment so I can work with the bare essentials of the build to add the things that are important to my role. I don’t alway have access to the original file in dwg or skp format. Is there a way in SketchUp to import a pdf floor plan in VECTOR form rather than raster?

If the PDF is vectorial, import it into Inkscape (or try an online converter PDF to DXF), export it as a DXF file, and then import the DXF into SketchUp.

Thank you! I will give that a try first thing tomorrow.
Cheers

This is a great paid plugin for importing PDF
