Import .vrscene into sketchup

Hi everyone,
I’m having trouble importing a .vrscene file of a floor plan exported from 3ds Max. When I import it into a blank SketchUp file, it works perfectly — the materials look fine. But when I try to transfer it from the blank file to the one I’m working on, the materials are either lost or don’t display correctly.
I’ve tried both copying the object and importing the .vrscene file directly into the working file, but nothing changes.
Does anyone know how to handle this issue?

Thanks a lot,
Best regards,
Guido

Ciao a tutti.
Grazie mille,

Saluti,
Guido

Could we try your blank file, after you have imported the DWG?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I didn’t import a DWG file — I only have a .vrscene file which, when imported into an empty SketchUp file, displays perfectly.
But when I move it into the SketchUp file I’m working on, the materials don’t display correctly.
How can I transfer it so that the materials remain exactly the same?

Sorry, misspoke. Can I try your file after the .vrscene import, when it looks ok? I want to try copying that into another file to see if it still looks correct.

Thinking about it, I might need your working file as well, in case that has something strange about it.

Or, can I try the .vrscene file, and can you say how you import that into SketchUp?

Where can I send them to you?

You could click on my avatar, and choose Message. Then it would only come to me.
