Almost every time I import a Revit Model now there are multiple view points or whatever all of this is. I don’t have time nor can I reach out to the engineer who supplied to the file to ask which is the correct level of geometry or whatever this list is from. Is there a way to open all as one model? I’m not familiar with Revit enough to know which each one is.
I don’t know too much about the Revit file structure, but if the list includes something like “Default 3D view”, that would be the one that most probably has the whole model in it, but from inside the importer it is impossible to determine the right one. The importer is designed to need a 3D view to import.
The views in the list have been created by the Revit user so I would say that he/she ought to have named them better.
I agree, their naming convention was not thought out. Thanks.
