IFC properties mapping

Hi, I am hoping to use custom attributes for components in Sketchup, and map these to IFC properties so that they can be exchanged/ exported. I have attempted to install IFC Manager, but it doesn’t appear to work as I envisaged, in that it doesn’t add property sets based on component class, nor does it enable me to map attributes to IFC properties, both of which I understood from searching online were possible. Can anyone suggest how I can do this? Thanks

The Ifc manager adds the common property set of an entity type only (object needs to be a component.

Do you want to add additional pSets? Or use the one provided by ifc4/2x3?

Thanks for the response. For some reason IFC Manager doesn’t appear to be working for me, it’s not adding any properties to components I’ve classed as IFC entities. I would like to use IFC property sets where possible, but we certainly need additional properties too
