You’ll pay the Pro price less the amount of Go you have left.

So you mean the Go price will be deducted from Pro?

Yes, but if you wait 4 months to upgrade then only 8 months of Go would be deducted. And you would have 12 months of pro from that date.
Mind you I’ve nothing to do with sales so I’m only speaking as a user and my personal understanding of how it works.

Got it! Thank you so much – that was really helpful!

Just thinking about it, and @colin can probably confirm, it may be that you pay an 8 month version of Pro, which can also be a good thing.

The thing is I just require it for a month or two – depending on the work that’s required.

I think that’s the way it works yeah. you upgrade your subscription with a prorata price, but the renewal date doesn’t change.

No idea how the monthly works though, similar I’m sure but …

It should be that in changing from Go to Pro your subscription end date does not change, and how much you pay is the difference between the remaining months of Pro, and the remaining months of Go.

For example, if after six months you upgrade from Go to Pro, you would pay $350/2 - $120/2. About $110, probably slightly more once tax is added. Pro would then renew at $350 per year, six months after the upgrade.

Tiny difference.
