IF function and leading zeroes

Hi folks,

I am trying to use the IF function to return a specific serial number associated to a material, but when I do it, the attribute trims off the leading zeroes (the prints below are in portuguese):

I have already set this attribute as text (assuming it would work as a string), but it didn’t work as I expected. Does anyone has any insight on how to insert this variable including the leading zeroes? It is important to keep the leading zeroes since they will be used in another CONCATENATE function.

Como você precisa de informação em forma de texto, mostre a informação concatenando um “espaço” antes do código.

Obrigado, Fabio! De fato usar um espaço ou hífen ajuda, também pensei nessa alternativa, testei e deu certo. A preocupação aqui é que o código concatenado vai para um sistema de fabricação, e estou tentando evitar ao máximo mexer no padrão dos códigos finais. Mas, se não tiver outra forma, vou nessa solução! Abraço
