This was one of the best extensions. Allowed you to make a new layer that would not show up on every scene that already existed…and not show up on any future scenes if you wish.
Was on Extension Warehouse. Now gone. The author has a blog that appears to not be active for the past four years. I’ve emailed him but no response.
If anyone could PM me with the rbz file, JFaddlayer. I would really appreciated it. I don’t have any other way of dealing with this issue of adding layers.

You could use Auto-Invisible Layer which is available in the Extension Warehouse. It’ll do the same thing.

It looks like this extension will not control visibility for future scenes.
You don’t need a plugin to do that.
