Hi! I’ve tried to get in touch with someone from Sketchup support but it seems next to impossible to get ahold of an actual person, and the AI chat doesn’t help! I have Sketchup Studio 2026 and I’m trying to use Layout. It says under my products that Layout is part of my subscription but there’s no way for me to access it anywhere. I had my teacher who is familiar with Sketchup take a look and he didn’t know what was happening either. My subscription must be messed up somehow. Does anyone know how to directly get ahold of a Sketchup team member? Or has anyone had a similar issue with having Studio and not being able to access Layout? Thank you for your help ahead of time.
What operating system are you using? ‘2026’ doesn’t answer that question and it would be important to be able to help you. What graphics card? Please clean up your profile.

Got it, I changed my operating system and graphics card info on my profile! Here’s a screenshot of my file menu.
Looks to me as if you haven’t actually installed SKetchUp and LayOut. Are you just running SketchUp from the .dmg file that you downloaded?

No I open Sketchup through my applications and then open up the files as needed, I tried to see if Layout was somewhere in my applications and it wasn’t
Did you rename LayOut? The menu item will be grayed out if LayOut has been renamed, or if it’s not in the same folder as SketchUp.
On your Mac, look in Applications, and see if there is a SketchUp 2026 folder. Inside that should be SketchUp and LayOut. If that isn’t how things are for you, download the disk image file again, and make sure to copy both SketchUp and LayOut into the SketchUp 2026 folder in Applications.
