Maybe I’m getting old, but I can’t publish the free plugins I created for Sketchup on Extension Warehouse. Is there anyone who can help me, one of your users or someone you know? I published the same ones on Sketchauction and I had no problems. However, with Trimble, I can’t complete the publication. These are my plugins.

A couple of us just determined that if a submitted extension is denied, you have the option to “Convert to Draft” or “Delete Submission”. If your extensions are in review, you don’t have those options and may have to wait until the review is complete.
However, it sounds like you may be having trouble getting your extensions uploaded and submitted. If that is the situation you may have to provide more information because it is unclear what the issue may be. Or, contact developer support. Basically, I uploaded them, but it took a very long time to receive a response from them confirming that everything was acceptable. They replied regarding only one plugin. I also updated the published files with newer versions, but after that I was no longer able to publish them, so I deleted everything.
I understand that they need to check for any issues, but the process should be faster. For example, an AI system could automatically check the files as soon as they are uploaded and tell you what is wrong and what is acceptable. Otherwise, the process takes far too long.
The problem is that many (respect for the exception) - “I’ll_write_a_world-changing_plugin” people - take the AI and generate the countless plugins innumerable times and want to publish them without understanding what these extension is really doing.
Well, I’m not surprised that EWH owners are scared, because these really need to be checked, and it really takes a long time…
Backlog. I think that’s the answer. From what’s occasionally posted it seems they are doing basically as you mention they ought to do.

No. We don’t need AI checking a lot of code that AI likely wrote to be distributed and installed on thousands of machines.
Why would you delete everything before confirming what may or may not be a real problem? I appreciate that you want to share your free plugins - and you have already done so on SketchUcation and you can even share them on your own website - but I’m thankful Trimble is doing at least some of the due diligence we need when we are discussing tools that may / can / could have access to people’s machines and data.
If you want them hosted in Trimble’s house you have to abide by their rules and their timeline.
Just write to the staff. (Contact) They are very helpful and it’s easier than you think.

I didn’t blame Trimble. I’m the one who wasn’t able to do it. Unfortunately, English is not my native language, so I often have difficulty fully understanding the various steps.
The only problem I had with Trimble was the response time.
As for artificial intelligence, there are systems that can help address copyright concerns—for example, by installing it within your own company, or by using a type of AI integrated into Trimble. After all, I can see that Trimble is increasingly working with AI engines for rendering.
I created the plugin because I needed it. I don’t know Ruby scripting, so I developed it with the help of artificial intelligence. That is not something I take pride in, but I managed to create something even though I am not a programmer.
For this very reason, I haven’t put anything up for sale. These are small plugins that I cannot even compare with anyone else’s, so they are free. Therefore, I recommend that anyone who wants to do things seriously purchase plugins from people who know more than I do and who have years of development experience.
