Hey! In the 2022 update, the hide guidelines feature changed. All the guides reappearing after doing 1 measurement is rather frustrating when you have already turned them off. Is there a way to turn off the guides like in the previous versions of Sketchup without them reappearing every time you measure things?
I think saving your current style with the guides off would do the trick.
What frustrated many users was that when it was turned off while trying to add a guide, it would disappear when placed.
That’s why it changed.
Hitting the right modifier key should prevent the trigger to change your View settings.
