How to trim corrugated/waffled objects to a unique pattern?

I’m designing a lean to patio cover. Using polycarbonate (suntuf) roof panels. I’m trying to trim part of the panels to fit my specific design but for the life of my I cannot figure out how to do it because of the design shape that I need.

I tried curic face knife but I cannot get it to work with the shapes involved. Using a flat panel I can get it to work but not with the suntuf panel model.

Really stumped on how to get this trimmed so happy to hear any thoughts to make this work.

Thanks in advance. Pics attached. 3rd pic is the shape I am trying to trim to.

Edit: apparently I cannot attach images so hopefully think link with my images works: roof panels - Album on Imgur

Your panels look like they have thickness, so they probably are solids? For that you can create a solid cutter and use Solid Tools to do the trimming. Otherwise, you can go old school and just create a cutting plane and intersect it with the context of your panel where you want to cut it. That’s the most concise description. A detailed step by step for either method would take more time which I’m out of for the moment, but someone else might step in.

edit : my bad,

didn’t read that  I guess I’m not 100% awake yet :innocent:

solid tools then yeah
