> This Extension specifically made for SketchUp 2024.0. to allow to save to older SketchUp version. However should work in any older SketchUp. Tested only on Windows 11, at SketchUp 2024.0 (shortly in SketchUp 2023.1, SU2017 make) Due to the massive bug in SU204 related to my special dual (“one and half”) screen laptop, the test was even less intense than the usual “Does not really tested” method. blush Also because of this no animation recorded. (I really suffer when I have to use SU2024……

You can also use [Su4U’s SaveAs](https://www.sketchupforyou.com/programs/) programme. As this is a standalone program, anyone who only has an older version of sketchup (2017 or 2020) can use it to convert a recent sketchup file and then open it.

I am using Sketchup Pro 2025 (Version 25.0.575). I don’t know how to save to lower versions. I used to just find the lower version in the Save As but it does not seems to work anymore. I came across your forum and still not sure how I can do that. I wonder if anyone can help.

There is no version option in the Save as type list:

The File tap, does not have options to save to lower version:

Any direction is much appreciated.

Read the thread you posted in. The second post includes a link to a thread where you can get an extension to do what you are asking.

Please update your forum profile. It is years out of date.
