From the warehouse, I’ve found a street scene and there’s a car on the street. I want to move only the car but when I select it, it selects the entire scene. What do I need to do to select only the car?

If there are nested component instance you simply ‘edit’ the ‘container’ instance [or group] and then select the required instance to be modified [moved/rotated/deleted/etc].
Keep editing ‘down’ until you are at the desire ‘level’ in the nesting…
You can edit a ‘container’ by double-clicking on it, or alternatively edit it by selecting it and using the right-click context-menu appropriate ‘edit’ item…
