I just watched the video and it’s a great explanation of how to do the leg. It’s a bit strange I did it very similar to you without knowing in advance, I must be doing something right
The “perpendicular to face” extension is something I actually have never used but very useful. I were going to use it but couldn’t remember the name at the time, so just rotated the circle perpendicular manually as I usually do as/when I need to.
I do find it unfortunate that Trim and Keep seems to have “become unavailable”, I think it’s great. I suppose Eneroth Solid Tools will become the goto for future users to preserve the component after solid operations.
Booltools is worth checking out.
I do too. Eneroth’s Solid Tools are great, too and well worth it. I wish they worked in the same order as the Solid Tools but that’s just a training issue. BoolTools2 is another good option and while not free, it does work in SketchUp Make, too.
