Hi all, how do I add shadows on the edge of the walls?

 ![qqqq.PNG](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/sketchup/original/3X/0/6/06e9121ac0552e0331680125a56ab17b94115766.jpeg)
I have no idea how to use render elements to add “Extra Texture” to my drawings. I’ve tried all blending modes but it won’t blend together with my drawings for preview.

After I apply Multiply blending options, the screen turns to black.

Please Help…

Add the Ambient Occlusion render element. I believe you will have to add this in post processing, but I haven’t used it in awhile.

I’ve tried to follow the steps in the video at 12:00 onwards but after selecting multiply, my whole image turns black.

Ambient Occlusion is not a render element or channel. It’s part of the Global Illumination settings in the Asset Editor. You have to first enable the advanced settings by expanding the ‘hamburger’ menu:

It is also available as a render element.
