How to divide a circle?

I am modelling base of a carousel, its like 5’ diameter circle with an inner circle of say 1’6 inches which is extruded to 7 feet height. Now i want yo divide the circle in equal parts , like two lines together and then again two lines, lights will be added to these lines. Now the middle gas been filled already . Now when i create lines on outer circle and the inner part is already filled i cannot find the centre and dont know how yo divide the circle.

Please share your file. It’s easier to show then.

Basically if you made an even-soded circle (line the default 24-sided one) then you don’t need to see the centre point. Every extremities on the circle has a twin on the other side you can link to.

But again, it’s simpler to show you on an actual case

Hello
You can set the number of segments the circle - is/is going to be - made of - selecting it/creating it.
Therefore it will be easy finding them as each one will have an inference point at each end
That being said it does not really matter as maybe you just want to model the pillars that are not so many
In that case you indeed need to find the center of your circle you can read This
Create a component, set it at a desired distance from center of the circle, and copy it with rotate tool and multiply if you know the exact angle in-between, and number, or copy at 360°, and divide as you like, not forgetting deleting the first component or its last copy, if that makes sense. See This for more details

Spend some time at the Campus to get an understanding of the basics.

Consider the top most circle in the model, I need to divide this circle in a way to create lines like reference pic, with the inner circular column , i can no longer make lines from centre of the topmost circle,

i have to make lines with lights like shown on green area marked in reference, on the face too and green area marked upwards too, i have to add both these to the model, also i have to model the manequine in yellow in the size of child.
