How to cut a beamprofile at an angle

I am trying to cut off a beam profile at an angle in sketcup pro 2016

Draw a rectangle through the beam and rotate it to the correct angle. Then select both the beam and the rectangle and right click and choose intersect faces with selection. Then delete the parts you don’t need.
This is assuming you are working with raw geometry. If things are grouped you need to open them for editing first.
