How to add a project into SketchUp Studio

I am new to Sketch Up and I dont understand how to add the whole project so Sketch Up can write draw it. I have all of the dimensions and but I can’t add it into Sketch Up Studio

In what form are “all of the dimensions”? What are you expecting SketchUp to do?

BTW, SketchUp Studio is just a subscription level with features not included with SketchUp Pro.

What graphics card do you have? You put “Hotel and Apartment Building” as the answer to that question in your profile but that isn’t a graphics card.

I’m trying to understand it now, but I am so new to Sketch Up, it’s really difficult to get started. And what I mean is having the the dimensions and layout written on paper.

Sketch Up Studio haven’t gave a card or anything like that but the project is all written out so I can add it to Sketch Up but I can’t and VRay us difficult to understand too.

I’m just teaching myself how to upload the dimensions

Start with the SketchUp tutorials at learn.sketchup.com Learn how to use the tools.

What does this mean?

You can just stick a sheet of paper with some numbers written on it into SketchUp and expect a building out of it.

I know but the project completed on paper but when I follow the dimensions I get lost. Can I upload files here so I can show you

You can share the file but no matter what, you need to learn to use SketchUp first. Take the time to go through the tutorials.

Fix your forum profile, too.

Ok…. I am taking the time to learn it but what’s wrong with my profile

Hotel and Apartment Building is not a graphics card.

So how do I draw it out

I have a full project written out this way

learn.sketchup.com

Where did you get that? Where is the rest of the information?

If you are new to SketchUp why are you using SketchUp 2025? Is it a cr acked version?

How about the AI Assistant in SketchUp Pro 2026.1?

I certainly wouldn’t send @TonyP006 in that direction. The AI Assistant is somewhat useful for people who know SketchUp but looking at OPs comments here I don’t think anything would get done.

@TonyP006’ s “project” (I really hope it isn’t something they actually paid for) is a very simple 2D plan, if they can’t draw that out they need to learn the software.
