Oh I fully disagree.

You are both essentially implying that i should buy the desktop version just to be able to run a 20 line script or a plugin that does something very basic. Something that could be a menu command just like all the other hundreds of menu commands that the ipad version has.

I made a feature request, and it is up to Tribble to look into it. Perhaps it doesn’t make sense. Perhaps it does.

Thanks for your input, though please be aware that some of the comments come off as very insulting

meanwhile, if one needs to replace a material by another, this method works on all platform, go and pro, and doesn’t require any extension or line of code.

the person who authored it is brilliant, I must say 🤡

I usually just alter/replace the material itself in photoshop or similar. Yes you have to drill down into the model itself, but only once for each texture.

If you’re happy with a self positioned texture across the whole model or for each group then the “change to default and retexture in one click” method is quicker.

Do you send to render in another app/plugin?

Edit: some downloads are quite messy in their positioning of textures, and I tend to avoid these; sometimes you just have to do your own drawing!
