How I can get the imperial paper and template

I have a French version of Layout but I live in Québec and we use the imperial paper size.

Is it possible to get the paper and template in imperial?

fichier / configuration du document / unités

here you can pick whatever unit you want.

then, go to papier, and type in the paper format you need.

Thanks Ateliernab.

I know that one but it is more convivial to get the sise available in the selection

You could switch to Windows. The paper sizes are shown in a drop down list.

Thanks Dave

No I have a Mac and I do not use and know Windows.

I know you have a Mac. Currently paper sizes are listed on Windows as I showed in my previous post. They aren’t in LayOut on Mac. That may change at some point in the future but at this time you will need to enter the paper dimensions you want to use.

Thanks DaveR

I think the issue is because I use the french language and SketchUp and Layout think I am from France and use metric.

May I ask why you aren’t making your own templates with the paper size and units set as you wish? You can also add your own title block and boilerplate text as well as select the font for text entities and styles for leaders and dimension lines.

No, the default paper is metric for a US installation as well. You can choose a paper template sized to any of the default sizes when you start your document, or change the paper size through the dialog as shown.

For reference, this is how I would change the paper size on my US/English installation.

I start to do it

This is more convivial

Thanks Aaron.
