without erasing the whole component. I have done edit-remove guidelines and tey are still there. Then I tried the eraser tool and it erased the whole component. The guidelines were added after the components were created. Any answers out there?
Open the component for editing first and then delete them.
As Box says, open the component for editing and erase the guidelines. It would be exactly the same as making any other modifications to the component.
There’s an alternative with guides if you want to erase all of them. Use Edit>Delete Guides.
