I want to make a rubber stopper but the taper of the sides is problematic. For instance, a #6 stopper is 33 mm at the top, 25 mm at the bottom, and 28 mm high. Any suggestions?
- Make a circle 25mm at the origin.
- Offset that circle’s perimeter 8mm out to get your 33mm top.
- Select the 33mm perimeter and move it up 28mm.

OK, I’ll confess: I’m using Sketchup Make 2017. I don’t see an option to change the radius in “Entity Info.” Nor can I select the outer radius and move it up while staying connected to the inner radius, although it’s hard to see how the outer circle is selected and moved. Mine just moves a disc that doesn’t stay connected to the inner circle.
It’s there IF you select the circle and not the face of the circle.
Select only the outer edge of the larger circle and then get the Move tool.
And yet another option for modeling the stopper with a profile and circular path for Follow Me.
