Hi,
I got some components and have them some options like colors and patterns assigned.
I do have the colors and paterns on square small planes in a hidden group inside the component.
This works and avoid the need for getting the needed patterns in my model document.
I save and edit that component is its own .skp file.
But If want to replace the component in another model, with an updated one, sometimes I have to reload it twice to get the attributes updated.
Anyone else this problem?
BTW,
why not a component submenu item with the update reference like in LayOut instead of Reload and search for the not selected and forgotten filename?
why not a submenu with the ‘save’ option next ( above) to the ‘save as’ option to (re)save Components? I do get seldom the original file selected, when I choose ‘resave’.
