Hidden cavity in 3-d-model for 3d-printing

hi. I cannot find out how to model a hidden cavity for 3d-printing. I want to pause the printing, put a magnet into the cavity and continue printing (closing the cavity). I know how to do the printing. but i wasnt successful so far to build a solid with hollow parts… Any idea? thank you.

If you put a cube within a cube and reverse the faces of the inner cube it will be a void. That is the main point of front and back faces, they tell the software what is print material and what is air.

Sphere within a sphere is one of the simplest examples.

See how the blue/gray back faces are facing each other telling the slicer that the sphere is a hollow solid with a wall thickness. Not a solid ball of print.
If you have a specific shape you are having an issue with you need to show us.

A slightly more complex version, say you want 4 magnets embedded in a flange.
By reversing the faces and copy pasting them into the flange group you create the voids.
