Help with groin vault ceiling

I can’t seem to intersect two different arcs properly so that I’m able to create a groin vault. One is 48" wide and the other is 72" wide and they both rise 24". Is there a way to do this? I’d like stretch the vaults down a hallway and not have them so symmetrical

As arcs are faceted in SketchUp as a face modeler, if you use two arcs of the same number of facets and different lengths then necessarily the segments will be different lengths and the nodes will not line up between the two vaults, producing a jagged edge. One method of creating asymmetrical groin vaults with nodes that align is to start by making them square and then scale one direction after the vault is created. This method yields aligned nodes in the barrels and is reasonably quick.

Thanks for the help!
