# Help with creating a shape

I want to create a shape like shown on the lamp (1st picture), but it doesnt look that good when using curviloft (2nd picture), i dont really know but it seems kinda off, like missing something, having extra lines. Any idea?

You can use the native SU tools to make the overall shape like this:

If you want rounded corners, you could try the RoundCorner or Bevel plugin.
