I have tried to print from layout to an older plotter on a network. I have tried this with varied versions back to version 8 and including 2016 I get the message that no printer is available. I can print to this printer from Sketchup, from Adobe viewer and all of my other programs. The plotter is a Cadjet2 and uses HPGL2 language.
