Hakusandori 白山通り

Hello everyone, here is my new project: Hakusandori 白山通り

HAKUSANDORI 白山通り is an architectural project depicting a fictional Japanese railway station, created using SketchUp 2026 and Lumion 2026.

The Hakusandori project aims to create a realistic representation of a fictional station located in the heart of Tokyo, inspired by the existing Japanese railway network. Designed as a new underground station, it serves both the Yamanote Line and the Chūō–Sōbu Line, allowing for a more complex and credible infrastructure inspired by Tokyo’s major railway stations.

Designed as a first-person experience, the project invites viewers to explore Hakusandori Station (白山通り) as if they were real passengers, discovering its entrances, corridors, platforms, signage, facilities, and trains. The goal is to provide an authentic and immersive experience of the atmosphere and operation of a contemporary Japanese railway station.

ah yes, the subway, I’ll watch this later during my lunch break, sitting on the beach feet in the sand.

:innocent:

out of curiosity, your images seem to have a lot of compression, almost GIF-like with a limited range of colours.

was it a deliberate artistic choice or did you push the compression to 11 ?

Beautiful, brings back fond 1985 memories of my 18 months in Tokyo riding the Yamanote Sen from Takadanobaba to Yurakucho every weekday  .. and the game I just downloaded called “Running Train” , thanks.. SStill remember off by heart the platform announcement before every train arrived…

mamanaku, abunai desu kara ichiban sen ni.. Shinjuku, Shibuya .. …… umm the people look a bit to relaxed for Tokyo

Sorry for the late reply

It was intentional; it’s a filter I applied to give it a hand-drawn effect. I used the same filter on my other train station project. So I had to maintain the same rendering style.

Thank you so much, that’s very kind

Yes, I downloaded it too. I’m more into JR East Simulator. Sure, the DLCs are expensive, but at least it’s a real pleasure to discover all the lines.
