Group not a Solid

Hi,

i’m trying to make a 3D model to print it. I have solved almost all volumes perfectly, but one is just not turning into a solid group. Can someone help? I have used Solid Inspector, CleanUp3, Solid Solve and Fixit101 and nothing is working. Solid Inspector says everything is perfect but SketchUp doesn’t. My issue with fixit is that it deletes necessary edges and lines, but it apparently catches 6 Split Edges, but how do i know where they are??? I’m attatching my file, please help, I’m losing my mind. The probematic Group is called OG Wände.

Thank you in advance!!

Sometimes you need to use Solid Inspector instead of Solid Inspector 2. One will sometimes detect issues the other doesn’t. For example this group isn’t solid due to a “bow time” situation.

After fixing that it shows as solid.

Thank you so so so much! I tried installing and using the „old“ one, it just didn’t show up, I even uninstalled the second one… do you have tips for how to get it to work? I’ll adjust everything tomorrow and let you know 100% if that’s what fixes it. Thank you:heart_hands:t2:

You should really have both versions installed. Reinstall both and the quit and restart SketchUp. Note that the old one doesn’t have a toolbar. It will be accessed through the Tools menu.

I fixed it!! Thank you so much, I found the Solid Inspector, and it identified all my issues. Thanks to you I can print my Bachelors Model now!

I’m glad you could print it but your model does have a lot of bad geometry.
You have length snapping enabled which is probably why you have faces that are ever so slightly out of alignment.
