I’ve seen this happen sporadically when exporting from Layout:
Below are identical screen grabs from two PDFs. Both are rendered in raster from the same Layout file with the only differences being the resolution settings.
- The first one is exported with Viewports set to Medium resolution and JPEG compression in the middle. The ground plane (colored gray) is not abnormal.
- The second one is exported with the Viewports set to High resolution and high JPEG compression. The ground plane now appears to cut through all of the geometry at about 4"-5" up, which you can see with the ghosting that is happening in the colors.
Yes, I’ve double checked that my geometry is sitting on the ground plane and is not buried.
Anybody else ever run into this?
