Grid reference plane

terse
təːs/Submit
adjective
sparing in the use of words; abrupt.

Yet you say I attacked , was this prior to your attack ?

This above was a statement of fact, IMO. It was not an insult. It was not an attack.

It is an attempt to hopefully have the OP be more descriptive in future requests and questions.

Rather than telling me I am terse it would be nice to talk to a developer.
Programming, even mathematics themselves, are about sparing words for the sake of storage space and simplification.

That may be true, but the purpose of this forum is for users (not developers) to exchange information and solve each other’s problem - using clear, descriptive language, when necessary illustrated by pictures or .skp files.

I am a developer. And I still don’t get what you are wanting to say.

How does continuing to attack people trying to help you, get you what you need ?

It appears that the relevant info for development is in my previous posts and not in the continued debarcle.
The reference to Gauss that seems to be the only part that stimulates conjecture can be refereed to in 2d grey scale shading for 3d interpretation , amplitude on 3d grid can be grey scale 2d shall i try and word this another sixteen ways for enough verbosity to suit ?

FTR, user has edited his 3rd post 6 TIMES adding more statements each time.
We could not have seen these statements (including that on Gauss) previously,
and it is unfair to use these new edits to bludgeon us with.

Tig’s “work plane” tool

Hello @alan50,

There is no doubt you are aware of the quote “A picture is worth a thousand words”. It may be well worth the minimal investment of time to illustrate your concerns. Certainly you would be better able to describe your issue had relevant images or an appropriate skp file accompanied your posts.

I also want to point out that your actions in a number of posts to this thread appear to be unnecessarily bellicose, particularly in view of the other users’ attempts to respond to you in a helpful way. In one of his responding posts to you (Reply No. 20) , I saw that @DanRathbun attached a link to the Forum Guidelines for your review. Hopefully you’ve already internalized this information. It is anticipated that, when posting to this Forum in the future, you will exhibit the principles expressed in the Guidelines.

All participants in the various conversations held here are encouraged to maintain an atmosphere of cordiality at the very least. Ad hominem disparagements are inappropriate and entirely unacceptable here. Continual exhibition of this form of response will ultimately result in the censure of an offending user.

Setting challenges for other users to develop mods is also part of what the forum is for, moderation of the forum can move topics from one category to another.
Giving away, copy/pasting or patching is not the same as developing programmer skill.

I am not a skilled forum user and do not know how to quote posts.
Editing the relevant post to add detail seemed a sensible use of forum space and data storage.
I did not try to suggest something useful to be accused of being abrupt. It is painfully apparent how you treat actual abrupt conversation.
